The 2025 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship will take place in Stockholm and Herning from May 9th to May 25th, 2025. Stockholm will serve as the primary venue, hosting Sweden's group stage matches, two quarter-finals, both semi-finals, as well as the bronze and gold medal games. Herning in Denmark, will host the other group matches along with two of the four quarter-finals.
After the 2024 IIHF World Championship, the participating nations and their respective groups will be determined and we will know which nation that will end up in which group.
